Cassiel is built and operated by Aesso — a studio whose operating principle is simplicity by design, an instinctual approach, and meticulous attention to detail.
The work is small on purpose. A clinical-trial platform that ships is a platform that's been argued for, not a platform that's been requirements- churned into numbness. Every commit in this product went through a reviewer who knew why.
The lineage
Cassiel inherits from Lore Studio — radical simplicity, aesthetic excellence, human-first design — and operates through Aesso's craft discipline. Clinical trials are inherently hard to navigate. Cassiel's job is to translate that complexity into legible experience: calmly for patients, precisely for operators, and convincingly for buyers.
The people
We're a deliberately small team. The design worldview is documented (see trust for the security side); the engineering conventions are audited every release; the content that ships is read by people who know what they're looking at.
